Come explore the woods of the NWJ campus together, play and learn, enjoy the campfire & ignite everyone’s curiosity in the natural world.

  • Recreate (v) to give new life or freshness to

    Giving kids an opportunity to be away from the complexities of the modern world and connect with the rhythms of nature.

  • Explore (v)

    1 - to investigate, study, or analyze

    2 - to travel over (new territory) for adventure or discovery

    Curiosity will lead campers on their own journeys as they discover new skills and learn to unlock the stories of nature.

  • Connect (v) to become joined

    People, especially kids, have an intrinsic need to connect with the natural world. Likewise, our wild places need people who care about them.

    Our goal is to help kids connect with nature, through learning & play and by fostering a culture of curiosity.

Topics/

  • Nature study scavenger hunts & games

  • Fire Building, S’mores & Hotdogs

Students/ Families (Kids age: you know your kids best, please make sure they are old enough to be responsible around open fires and can walk safely in the woods.)

Location/ Classes will take place at our 40 acre school in Durham, NH. Located on Wiswall Road across from Juniper Lane.
